The NSW Local Government and Shire's Association are the peak body for local government in NSW, providing a range of services and solutions for the local governments one hundred and fifty two general purpose councils.

They needed

To support their fast change and ever increasing online delivery requirements they needed: To increase brand awareness, participation and the speed to market of their information including project initiatives, policies & events A web management facility which made it easy and cost effective to manage multiple websites from a single source Improve online information service delivery across the one hundred and fifty two metro and rural NSW councils An easy and cost effective process to manage a large amount of content and improve access to timely and accurate information A product and support partner which would leverage the capability and skills of their internal marketing online branding team.

We provided

By implementing Lantern CMS multi-site, Morpheum provided a flexible content management foundation that enabled LGSA to roll-out multiple websites from a single source. This allowed them to take ownership and responsibility for the website design process and Morpheum to support the technical implementation and infrastructure.

Lantern CMS multi-site provided a business model for LGSA to implement websites as their online business requirements extended. As each additional website was deployed the return on their initial investment grew.

LGSA required a maintenance and support contract which ensured the long-term life of their purchase and continuing best practice capability. The Morpheum Maintenance Support Agreement (MSA) guaranteed availability to future updates for the Lantern CMS foundation and to online and phone support services.

Over and above

Since their initial objectives was realised, Morpheum have worked with LGSA providing custom application development for a targeted event calendar's, community directories, integrated job recruitment module to name a few.

Morpheum are continuing to work with LGSA to translate business opportunities online.
