As a leading provider of high quality telephone-based healthcare throughout Australia and New Zealand, McKesson Asia Pacific needed a system to manage the content on their corporate intranet easily, efficiently and most importantly to act as a support mechanism for their health call centre staff. Due to the geographical location of McKesson's offices including a large number of staff working from home, the new content management system (CMS) had to allow staff to access it from anywhere, anytime. Another main criterion for McKesson was that the system had to be easy to use for website authors who had little or no HTML and technical knowledge. McKesson staff working out of Australia, New Zealand and their own home could take advantage of the fact that Lantern is a web-based application and users simply require a login and password to access.
Thorough and effective training was also performed by Morpheum trainers who are proficient in the use of Lantern and also provided comprehensive training manuals for staff.
McKesson also required a maintenance and support contract which ensured the long-term life of their purchase and continuing best practice capability. The Morpheum Maintenance Support Agreement (MSA) guaranteed availability to future updates for the Lantern CMS foundation and to online and phone support services.
